Ticket entrance fee & opening hours Ijen crater lake

Mount Ijen is located on the border of Banyuwangi and Bondowoso districts. It takes about one and a half hours by car from Banyuwangi and 2 hours by car from Bondowoso. You will be heading to Paltuding, where your hike to the Ijen crater lake starts.
An entrance ticket for foreigners costs IDR 100,000 on weekdays and IDR 150,000 on weekends.
The entrance gate opens at 02:00 and closes at 14:00. One should leave the top before 14:00 as toxic gas emission by the volcano increases during the day.
